Com o milho valendo mais que o dobro do que valia no ano passado, o confinamento do boi deixou de ser t\u00e3o atrativo para os produtores. Para se ter uma ideia, em um ano o pre\u00e7o do milho aumentou 112%, com a saca valendo mais de R$ 50 com base no indicador Esalq\/BMFBovespa, enquanto a arroba do boi gordo subiu apenas 6%, cotada em aproximadamente R$ 115.\u00a0\"conf\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Esta diferen\u00e7a interfere no n\u00famero de animais que v\u00e3o para o confinamento neste ano, segundo avaliou o diretor t\u00e9cnico da Informa Economics IEG | FNP, Jos\u00e9 Vicente Ferraz. \u201cO pecuarista faz um c\u00e1lculo onde ele verifica em que hip\u00f3tese ele vai comercializar esse gado e quais v\u00e3o ser os custos. Se esses custos subirem demais, ele, obviamente, tende a desistir a confinar ou reduzir o n\u00famero de animais em confinamento, j\u00e1 que ele n\u00e3o v\u00ea a perspectiva de lucro\u201d, disse.<\/p>\n

A redu\u00e7\u00e3o no n\u00famero de animais confinados j\u00e1 \u00e9 contabilizada na Coplacana, cooperativa de Piracicaba que come\u00e7a a engorda do gado a partir de abril. “Este ano est\u00e1 um pouco mais retra\u00edda a procura, em torno de 30%. Pode ser que este mercado venha a ‘acontecer’ ainda, com um pouco mais de frio, ou deixando as pastagens por causa de seca”, disse Klever Jos\u00e9 Coral, superintendente da Coplacana.<\/p>\n

Coral conta que o custo total de engorda \u00e9 de cerca de R$ 750 por animal, 12% maior do valor cobrado pelo confinamento no ano passado. A cooperativa disse ainda que conseguiu amenizar a alta da ra\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 base de milho substituindo o insumo por produtos mais baratos. “N\u00f3s trabalhamos com a parte de polpa c\u00edtrica, baga\u00e7o de cana cru, res\u00edduos que saem da limpeza dos cereais da nossa unidade de gr\u00e3os, que depois \u00e9 transferida para o confinamento. Com isso, a gente consegue ter um valor de mercado para os produtos utilizados\u201d, disse Klever.<\/p>\n

Se escassez de milho diminui o confinamento e, por consequ\u00eancia, a oferta de gado, o aumento do pre\u00e7o da arroba do boi gordo e tamb\u00e9m de outras prote\u00ednas animais \u00e9 tend\u00eancia daqui pra frente. \u201cAo diminuir a oferta, a tend\u00eancia do pre\u00e7o \u00e9 subir e isso vai bater l\u00e1 no consumidor final, que vai pagar mais caro, principalmente, por causa dessa perspectiva de aumento de custo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o para o pecuarista\u201d, concluiu Jos\u00e9 Vicente Ferraz.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
