O evento, chamado Arab Day, foi promovido pela Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira das Ind\u00fastrias Exportadoras de Carne (Abiec) em parceria com a C\u00e2mara de Com\u00e9rcio \u00c1rabe Brasileira. Os participantes convidados eram, em maioria, empres\u00e1rios \u00e1rabes importadores de carnes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"C-geral\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\">De acordo com o gerente de Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Governamentais da C\u00e2mara \u00c1rabe, Tamer Mansour, participaram principalmente empres\u00e1rios do Golfo, de pa\u00edses como Emirados \u00c1rabes Unidos, Kuwait e Ar\u00e1bia Saudita, e do Norte da \u00c1frica, do Egito e Arg\u00e9lia, al\u00e9m do L\u00edbano. Segundo Mansour, grande parte deles j\u00e1 importa carne do Brasil e destacou a import\u00e2ncia do halal para as ind\u00fastrias brasileiras em fun\u00e7\u00e3o da promo\u00e7\u00e3o do evento voltado para o tema.<\/p>\n<p class=\"C-geral\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\">O churrasco, no qual foram servidos picanha e contrafil\u00e9, aconteceu em um espa\u00e7o criado como churrascaria dentro da feira. Nele tamb\u00e9m aconteceram outros eventos gastron\u00f4micos com tem\u00e1ticas diferentes.
