\"\"<\/a>O dito \u201c\u00e9 na crise que surgem as oportunidades\u201d, por mais clich\u00ea que possa parecer, tem um significado ainda mais especial no setor da pecu\u00e1ria de corte. Conhecida por possuir um ciclo mercadol\u00f3gico de aproximadamente sete anos, entre alta e baixa, a atividade passa por um momento de instabilidade, com queda no pre\u00e7o da arroba e do bezerro. Para uns, momento exato de investir.<\/p>\n

Devido \u00e0s incertezas do mercado e desvaloriza\u00e7\u00e3o do boi gordo e do bezerro, muitos pecuaristas resolveram enviar as f\u00eameas para o abate, na inten\u00e7\u00e3o de reduzir os custos na propriedade. O consultor t\u00e9cnico e economista da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o dos Criadores de Mato Grosso (Acrimat), Amado de Oliveira, explica que a comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o de f\u00eameas \u00e9 natural e se torna op\u00e7\u00e3o de renda para o produtor no per\u00edodo de crise.<\/p>\n

\u201cCom as contas apertadas, o pecuarista v\u00ea na f\u00eamea oportunidade de redu\u00e7\u00e3o de custa. Por\u00e9m, aqueles que conseguem manter suas reprodutoras se tornam potenciais fornecedores quando a demanda por animais se aquecer\u201d, afirma o economista.<\/p>\n

Levantamento do Instituto Mato-Grossense de Economia Agropecu\u00e1ria (Imea) aponta a maior participa\u00e7\u00e3o de f\u00eameas nos abates desde 2014, com 48% do total registrado no primeiro semestre.<\/p>\n

Isso, no ciclo da pecu\u00e1ria, representa o in\u00edcio da revers\u00e3o do mercado. Ou seja, quando os pre\u00e7os da arroba e do bezerro caem muito, os pecuaristas abatem as f\u00eameas e, para a pr\u00f3xima safra, vai reduzir o n\u00famero de bezerros dispon\u00edveis, depois a oferta de bois e, consequentemente aumenta o pre\u00e7o da arroba.<\/p>\n

A pesquisadora do Cepea (Centro de Estudos Avan\u00e7ados em Economia Aplicada), Mariane Crespolini, explica que no momento em que de agora at\u00e9 o desmame dos bezerros que v\u00e3o nascer calcula-se cerca de um ano e meio, per\u00edodo em que a demanda por bezerros estar\u00e1 superaquecida justamente pela falta de animais. \u201cAssim, quem segurar a f\u00eamea para emprenhar no come\u00e7o das \u00e1guas estar\u00e1 investindo no mercado futuro\u201d.<\/p>\n

Outra oportunidade neste momento, segundo Crespolini, \u00e9 para a reforma de pastagem. Com a redu\u00e7\u00e3o dos pre\u00e7os das sementes em decorr\u00eancia do favorecimento clim\u00e1tico, o custo para recupera\u00e7\u00e3o caiu.<\/p>\n

E foi justamente isso que o pecuarista de Pontes e Lacerda, Luciomar Machado, resolver fazer. Com a queda no mercado do boi gordo, ele reduziu o custo que tinha com o arrendamento de \u00e1reas e aplicou o dinheiro na aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de insumos para o pasto. Al\u00e9m disso, ele tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 contratando cr\u00e9dito para auxiliar nos investimentos.<\/p>\n

\u201cMeu objetivo \u00e9 garantir a oferta de animais quando o mercado estiver em alta. Para isso, vou integrar agricultura e produzir gr\u00e3os para suplementa\u00e7\u00e3o alimentar dos bois e recuperar terra degradada.
