\n\tA pecu\u00e1ria intensiva brasileira deve se encaixar em um sistema de produ\u00e7\u00e3o de carne barata e eficiente para atender o crescimento da demanda mundial por alimentos, disse nesta ter\u00e7a-feira, 5, o presidente do Conselho de Administra\u00e7\u00e3o da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Nacional da Pecu\u00e1ria Intensiva (Assocon), Alberto Pessina, em evento em S\u00e3o Paulo sobre as perspectivas para o setor em 2018.<\/p>\n

Para Pessina, o Brasil \u00e9 \u201cum dos pa\u00edses que tem capacidade para suprir a demanda mundial por alimentos na pr\u00f3xima d\u00e9cada\u201d. Ele afirmou que o Brasil deve responder por boa parte das exporta\u00e7\u00f5es globais at\u00e9 2026.<\/p>\n

Segundo ele, a produ\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira de alimentos precisa crescer 13% para suprir o aumento de 7% da demanda interna, al\u00e9m da eleva\u00e7\u00e3o de 31% nas exporta\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

Pessina aposta no crescimento da utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da pecu\u00e1ria intensiva no longo prazo, paralelamente ao aumento dos pre\u00e7os das terras.
