Foram abatidas 1,1 milh\u00e3o a mais de cabe\u00e7as de gado, chegando a 30,8 milh\u00f5es. Esse foi o primeiro crescimento anual ap\u00f3s quedas entre 2014 e 2016. As informa\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o da Pesquisa Trimestral do Abate de Animais, divulgada na \u00faltima quinta-feira (22)pelo IBGE.<\/p>\n<p>Em abril de 2017, o setor registrou baixa de 15,6% no abate, a segunda maior queda mensal da s\u00e9rie hist\u00f3rica iniciada em 1997. Os motivos principais foram a paralisa\u00e7\u00e3o de atividades e f\u00e9rias coletivas concedidas por frigor\u00edferos pertencentes \u00e0 empresa alvo da opera\u00e7\u00e3o policial. Com isso, o resultado no segundo trimestre de 2017 foi de -3,0%.<\/p>\n<div class=\"texto_oculto desativado\">\n<p>Outro desafio enfrentado pelo setor foi o desaquecimento na demanda interna por carne bovina, em raz\u00e3o da crise econ\u00f4mica. Isso \u00e9 mostrado pela queda nos pre\u00e7os de todos os cortes de carne. Enquanto o \u00cdndice de Pre\u00e7os do Consumidor Amplo (IPCA) de 2017 foi de 2,95%, por exemplo, o fil\u00e9 mignon teve defla\u00e7\u00e3o de 5,53%, a Alcatra (-4,95%) e a Costela (-2,52%)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFoi um ano desafiador para a Pecu\u00e1ria por conta da demanda ainda enfraquecida no mercado interno e da opera\u00e7\u00e3o da Pol\u00edcia Federal Carne Fraca\u201d, explicou a gerente de pecu\u00e1ria do IBGE, Angela Lord\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Contribu\u00edram para contornar a crise, segundo Angela, o aumento de 12,1% nas exporta\u00e7\u00f5es de carne bovina, cujo principais compradores s\u00e3o\u00a0Hong Kong e China, e a maior oferta de animais devido a investimentos em reprodu\u00e7\u00e3o para o aumento de efetivos.<\/p>\n<p>Mato Grosso continuou liderando o ranking das unidades da federa\u00e7\u00e3o do abate de bovinos em 2017, com 15,6% da participa\u00e7\u00e3o nacional, seguido por seus dois vizinhos do Centro-Oeste: Mato Grosso do Sul (11,1%) e Goi\u00e1s (10,3%).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abate de su\u00ednos cresce e bate recorde<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>O abate de su\u00ednos, que supera o de bovinos desde 2008, cresceu 2,0% e atingiu novo recorde em 2017: 43,2 milh\u00f5es de cabe\u00e7as.
