O tradicional encontro dos selecionadores de nelore de todo o Brasil aconteceu nesta sexta feira, dia 16, em S\u00e3o Paulo. A Nelore Fest reuniu pelo menos 350 pessoas, entre criadores, empres\u00e1rios e representantes de ind\u00fastrias de sa\u00fade animal, alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, gen\u00e9tica, fertilizantes e frigor\u00edficos.<\/p>\n

Considerado o Oscar da Pecu\u00e1ria, o evento premia os melhores da ra\u00e7a nelore a cada ano, seja do ranking nacional de exposi\u00e7\u00f5es ou do ranking regional. D\u00e1 pr\u00eamios tamb\u00e9m aos primeiros colocados nos julgamentos de carca\u00e7a e no Circuito Boi Verde. Este \u00faltimo foi abordado em reportagem da revista Globo Rural deste m\u00eas de mar\u00e7o.<\/p>\n

Ponto alto na premia\u00e7\u00e3o foi a fam\u00edlia goiana dos irm\u00e3os De Marchi. Venceram na categoria Fam\u00edlia Destaque.<\/p>\n

\u201cA Nelore Fest re\u00fane em um ambiente descontra\u00eddo e informal grandes selecionadores e invernistas, t\u00e9cnicos e assessores pecu\u00e1rios, executivos e profissionais de empresas de insumos e de ind\u00fastrias frigor\u00edficas. \u00c9 um excelente momento para fortalecer relacionamentos e alavancar neg\u00f3cios\u201d, ressalta Andr\u00e9 Locateli, gerente executivo da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o dos Criadores de Nelore do Brasil, que promove a festa.<\/p>\n

O clima \u00e9 realmente de festa e confraterniza\u00e7\u00e3o, afinal a ra\u00e7a nelore representa 80% do rebanho brasileiro que hoje est\u00e1 ao redor de 220 milh\u00f5es de cabe\u00e7as de gado. \u201cAssim, a for\u00e7a da nelore na cadeia da carne \u00e9 imensa, seja no mercado interno ou nas exporta\u00e7\u00f5es de carne\u201d, ressalta Nabih Amin El Aouar, presidente da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Criadores de Nelore do Brasil. Nabih \u00e9 criador no Esp\u00edrito Santo.<\/p>\n

Segundo ele, a nelore, cuja origem \u00e9 a \u00cdndia e que chegou ao Brasil h\u00e1 cerca de um s\u00e9culo, hoje \u00e9 importante tamb\u00e9m no com\u00e9rcio global. \u00c9 que as exporta\u00e7\u00f5es de carne produzida por animais meio-sangue zebu e taurinos, \u00e9 maioria, explica.<\/p>\n

Para se ter ideia do avan\u00e7o da ra\u00e7a nelore, ela participou de 72 feiras agropecu\u00e1rias no Brasil em 2017.<\/p>\n
