A quantidade equivale a quase 14% do rebanho produzido no territ\u00f3rio nacional. Al\u00e9m disso, o Estado tamb\u00e9m se destaca no ranking internacional, sendo o sexto maior produtor de gado do mundo. Para discutir os avan\u00e7os da pecu\u00e1ria no Estado come\u00e7ou nesta quinta-feira (12) o Intercorte, evento que re\u00fane representantes da cadeia produtiva de carne bovina do Brasil. Entre os destaques est\u00e1 o trabalho do Instituto Mato-grossense da Carne (Imac) para a autorregulamenta\u00e7\u00e3o do setor em Mato Grosso e tamb\u00e9m para aumentar a prospec\u00e7\u00e3o de neg\u00f3cio no mercado internacional.<\/p>\n<p>Dez milh\u00f5es de hectares do territ\u00f3rio mato-grossense s\u00e3o utilizados para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de gado e, segundo o governo de Mato Grosso, outros sete milh\u00f5es ainda podem ser utilizados dentro da legalidade. Al\u00e9m disso, existem 16 milh\u00f5es de hectares de pastagem de baixa produtividade que podem ser convertidos em pecu\u00e1ria semi-intensiva.<\/p>\n<p>O presidente do Imac, Guilherme Nolasco, explicou que o instituto busca criar um selo de garantia de origem da carne de Mato Grosso trazendo alguns quesitos de qualidade, tipifica\u00e7\u00e3o de carca\u00e7a, transpar\u00eancia, abate e pesagem ao produtor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCom isto existe uma garantia de produ\u00e7\u00e3o sustent\u00e1 vel socioeconomicamente correta, levando ao mundo o selo da carne de Mato Grosso.
