Com a tend\u00eancia de aumento da demanda por produtos da pecu\u00e1ria e a necessidade de produzir de forma eficiente, utilizando espa\u00e7os menores, os investimentos em gen\u00e9tica continuam sendo essenciais. Uma oportunidade para ter acesso \u00e0 melhor gen\u00e9tica zebu\u00edna \u00e9 a ExpoGen\u00e9tica 2018, que acontece de 18 a 26 de agosto, no Parque Fernando Costa, em Uberaba, no Tri\u00e2ngulo Mineiro.<\/p>\n<p>O evento, que \u00e9 refer\u00eancia no melhoramento gen\u00e9tico de zebu\u00ednos, tem como objetivo estimular os investimentos nos rebanhos e levar ao produtor o que h\u00e1 de mais avan\u00e7ado no mercado. A feira \u00e9 realizada pela Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira dos Criadores de Zebu (ABCZ).<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com o gerente de melhoramento gen\u00e9tico da ACBZ e coordenador do Programa de Melhoramento da Qualidade Gen\u00e9tica do Rebanho Bovino do Estado de Minas Gerais (Pr\u00f3-Gen\u00e9tica) do Programa Nacional de Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de Touros Jovens (PNAT), Lauro Fraga Almeida, o evento atrai produtores de diversas partes do Pa\u00eds, o que mostra o interesse crescente para melhorar o rebanho e ter maior produtividade.<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0\u201cNossa expectativa em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 feira \u00e9 muito boa. O Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estat\u00edstica (IBGE) divulgou, recentemente, dados do Censo Agropecu\u00e1rio que apontaram para uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o da \u00e1rea de pastagem e o crescimento da produtividade na pecu\u00e1ria entre 2006 e 2017. N\u00f3s, da ABCZ, entendemos que o crescimento da produtividade tem tudo a ver com as ra\u00e7as zebu\u00ednas. A pecu\u00e1ria de corte e de leite, no Pa\u00eds, \u00e9 feita com exemplares origin\u00e1rios das ra\u00e7as zebu\u00ednas. Na ExpoGen\u00e9tica, o pecuarista ter\u00e1 acesso \u00e0 melhor gen\u00e9tica dispon\u00edvel, uma oportunidade importante para investir na melhoria da qualidade do rebanho\u201d, explicou.<\/div>\n<p>Pela primeira vez, no evento, ser\u00e1 realizada a feira do Pr\u00f3-Gen\u00e9tica. O projeto, que estimula a livre negocia\u00e7\u00e3o entre produtor e comprador, \u00e9 uma forma de adquirir touros que tem o potencial de melhorar o rebanho. Ao todo, ser\u00e3o ofertados 21 animais das ra\u00e7as Nelore, Nelore mocho, Guzer\u00e1, Tabapu\u00e3 e Gir leiteiro.<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0Esta edi\u00e7\u00e3o da ExpoGen\u00e9tica tamb\u00e9m ser\u00e1 uma oportunidade para que os pecuaristas \u00a0invistam e modernizem as fazendas. Pela primeira vez ser\u00e1 realizada a Expomaq, feira de m\u00e1quinas, equipamentos e insumos. O evento \u00e9 voltado, principalmente, para os pequenos e m\u00e9dios, e, ainda, pecuaristas da agricultura familiar. Os visitantes ter\u00e3o acesso a diversos estandes especializados em materiais para a pecu\u00e1ria. Al\u00e9m de m\u00e1quinas e equipamentos, estar\u00e3o presentes empresas especializadas na comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o de material gen\u00e9tico. A exposi\u00e7\u00e3o receber\u00e1 cerca de 40 caravanas de todo o Estado, o que ir\u00e1 estimular os neg\u00f3cios.<\/div>\n<p><strong>Leil\u00e3o<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Outra novidade \u00e9 o leil\u00e3o dos bovinos do Programa de Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de Touros Jovens (Pnat). Nesta edi\u00e7\u00e3o, al\u00e9m da classifica\u00e7\u00e3o dos melhores animais, os criadores participantes do programa poder\u00e3o leiloar os animais em um preg\u00e3o exclusivo. Todos os touros que estar\u00e3o presentes tiveram o desempenho avaliado em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao ganho de peso, convers\u00e3o alimentar e ultrassonografia da carca\u00e7a. Somente os animais superiores foram selecionados e participar\u00e3o do leil\u00e3o do Pnat.<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0A agenda de leil\u00f5es conta com 15 leil\u00f5es, tr\u00eas eventos a mais que em 2017, quando 11 remates e um shopping faturaram um total de R$194 milh\u00f5es. A expectativa \u00e9 superar o valor alcan\u00e7ado em 2017.<\/div>\n<p><strong>Capacita\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 capacita\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9cnica, os pecuaristas poder\u00e3o participar de duas palestras.
