Al\u00e9m disso, os n\u00fameros mostraram tamb\u00e9m que que 77% do aumento da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de carne ocorrer\u00e1 nos pa\u00edses em desenvolvimento, especialmente na Argentina, China, Brasil, \u00cdndia, M\u00e9xico e Paquist\u00e3o, e 23% nos mais desenvolvidos.<\/p>\n<div>De acordo com a FAO, o mercado ser\u00e1 influenciado principalmente pela demanda por frango e continuar\u00e1 sendo dominado pelos maiores produtores, especificamente Brasil, China, Uni\u00e3o Europeia e Estados Unidos. Enquanto isso, a produ\u00e7\u00e3o mundial de leite aumentar\u00e1 33% entre 2015 e 2030, ano em que a \u00cdndia substituir\u00e1 a Uni\u00e3o Europeia como principal produtor.<\/p>\n<p>A demanda por produtos animais como um todo dever\u00e1 crescer 70% entre 2005 e 2050, especialmente nos pa\u00edses em desenvolvimento, onde o consumo de alimentos dos animais \u00e9 baixo. Segundo o diretor do Instituto Internacional de Pesquisa em Pol\u00edticas Alimentares (IFPRI), Shenggen Fan, na maioria dos pa\u00edses da \u00c1sia e da \u00c1frica, o consumo de carne est\u00e1 entre 10 e 12 quilos per capita por ano. \u00a0\u201cEsse d\u00e9ficit de acesso \u00e0 prote\u00edna animal deve ser reduzido, entre outras coisas, para que as crian\u00e7as n\u00e3o tenham defici\u00eancias nutricionais que causem atrasos em seu crescimento\u201d, comenta.<\/p><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Al\u00e9m disso, o especialista da FAO Alejandro Acosta, autor do relat\u00f3rio, afirmou que a pecu\u00e1ria contribui com 33% das prote\u00ednas e 17% das calorias que as pessoas consomem ao redor do mundo.
